I've applied twice, never even got a confirmation email or any sort of correspondence from Yahoo. I applied first about 3 months ago and then again a week ago.

Just seems a strange way to conduct a business. I have a large site with 1,000,000+ impressions per day that I would like to put with Yahoo. Not adult, not gambling. Just music related entertainment content. Adsense gives me about $200 a day, but I think it's dragging the earnings of all my other sites down (smart pricing) and so I want to replace it with YPN. No luck so far gettng into YPN

Help!

Just a thought - how about pop-ups? Do you use them on your site?

It's still in beta. They're not going to accept everybody who applies.

I'm in the same boat. I applied a few months ago, then again about a week ago and I've gotten no response. My sites aren't quite as large as yours (300,000 impressions a day), but I still thought I'd hear SOMETHING by now...

I applied and received acceptance about 4 months later, so you still have hope!

I haven't heard anything about this recently, but I remember something a few months ago about how they want smaller sites (200,000 impressions and less) or something of that sort first then they will open to larger publishers.

Not 100% sure on this, but I do know that they are wanting more blogger/small publisher type sites...

I think they have their current quota for this stage of beta while they continue to test beta and suspect beta will not finish till 2 quarter next year which will give them time to iron out any issues and gain more advertisers

Currently they have great support and time to go through issues with publishers via phone if they accept to many publishers the valuable feedback they recieve may get lost in other issues

just hope that when they go fully live their level of support continues to be good not expecting the high level achieved currently but would be nice if it stayed at %50 of current support

I do still believe they need further tuning of contextual add matching to page content so give them time

I applied to get YPN using one of my VERY small sites, like 10 pages + forum, all about some specific game. I was accepted pretty quickly, about 2 weeks.

Same here. I applied with one of my smaller sites, and now have YPN ads somewhere on nearly all of my sites.

I applied now with one of my smaller sites and used a different phone number and different email address. If this works that would be great! I tried out kanoodle today and they suck. They paid .10 per click for everything and had no ad rotation. I tried contextweb, but they had irregular ad formats. Thought adbrite might be cool..but their implementation is just so half assed.

Does Yahoo offer 468x15 link units? Those work well on Google.

I hate it when Google has me by the balls!

FWIW, I just got accepted with my largest site (6M pageviews a month). Results have been rather poor, but I'll give it some time. I'm just glad to get in!
