Yes, Y! is outperforming G, and yes they are adding new features that publishers want including the new ads in RSS feature.

But I want to know if my sites are/aren't performing well... in real time. This, IMHO, should be near the top of Y!'s requirement list, along with the main goal of offering ypn to the world.

I'm seeing reports update every hour for a day or so sometimes...great. But then they quit reporting for six hours, 12 hours, a day or more. I'm glad new features are coming, but please work on the reporting. That was my choice in the last publisher poll. What are others wishing for in the last poll?

My first wish came true. RSS Feeds. My second is not on the list and that is that they do not let everyone and their brother into the program like G. Keep it somewhat exclusive. Please...

During one of the YPN sessions at Pubcon, I asked Yahoo about real time tracking and they pretty much said it wasn't going to happen any time soon.

Right now it's only about 2 hours behind, which is still pretty good.

How about a nice rollout of YPN by letting the world use the BETA (which would increase the ad amount and more than likely the $ because now they only show US) and give us Direct Deposit (my main hope) and Adlinks at the same time.

From the YPN session at PubCon, those were all things they were working on (International in 2006, more payment options and different types of ad units).

It may be 2 hours behind for most but mine delays up into the next day to show the day before. a good 15 hours or so.

I hope they keep YPN exclusive, and a little tough to get into, that way we won't be seeing Yahoo! ads on scraper sites, ruining the potential revenue for the rest of us.

and, even though I'm not in the program yet, I would also like to add my voice to those calling for a fair amount of "exclusivity" being maintained. MFA sites we have, let's not have MFY sites too.

I feel the biggest error G made was to allow one member to put code on all sites. All sites should be hand-checked. Only takes 3 minutes. And random spot checks after too.
