From reading this post, it looks like an Indian clicked a YPN ad to try it out and got a message that only US/Canada residents can click ads. So does that mean international clicks are discounted automatically already? There should be no further adjustments?

Right, clicks are counted properly on-the-fly.

I got an opposite response from ypn support two weeks ago.

They let me know that foreign clicks would/could be removed during the audit process and that it was possible for me to lose a signficant amount of the unaudited revenue in the account.

They recommended I get software to block foreign visitors from seeing the ads.

Am I correct or are you?

If I recall, they plan to add international ads/user clicks at some point.

>Am I correct or are you?
Well, it wouldn't be the first time we got conflicting info on ad network, that's for sure.

My understanding is the clicks are properly handled on the fly. However, this is a beta, and they may need to adjust on audit. Hence the "would/could" I would bet, in your reply.

In my experience with YPN, my sites get a small % of traffic that is non US. Clicks have not been audited out. One site that has a disproportionate amount of traffic outside the U.S. has the same disproportionate amount of clicks.

So, from what I can tell, it is handled on the fly. It could possibly be further corrected if necessary. Remember, this is a beta, and is subject to potential problems.

I think it should not make much of a difference in Revenue as low paying 3 cent ads are shown to Asian audience. But will make a huge difference if your audience is Asian.
