I remember reading last year that Overture rejected ads / sites that were focused on Adsense . . .
Is this happening today?

In my recent experiences with overture i've found that they aren't as strict as they used to be. But thats just my experience.

will adsense and YPN allow each other on same webpages?
Almost certainly not. AdSense TOS prohibit use alongside competing services. YPN will presumably be contextual advertising, and so fall under this clause.

That rule will only apply for small time publishers. Most premium publishers will be able to bully google into allowing them to run both.

I'd say in my experience Overture are far stricter then Google when it comes to exclusivity contracts, but as markus007 pointed out, if you're big enough, you can call the shots to a certain degree.
