I got accepted few months ago but then did not really started. Ok, so today, because my AS earning is dropping dramatically, i decided to give YPN a shot.
However, i forgot my username and password. I went through the forgot id page and retrieved my username. But when i was in the process of resetting of password, the page just stucked there. I tried several times to create new password but failed. The page just stopped there. I did not see any confirmation messages that my new password is created.
Ok, so i thought the password was created successfully, however, i still coudlnt log in using the new password. Login failed. Please check your password.
Anyone else having this error?
I thought I had the right one but they could not even find my email address.
I sent them an email but haven't heard back. I wanted to test it on my middle site....if I can ever get signed up....
It is making me wonder though, If they can lose my info that easy I would hate to have them owe me money and have that happen. I may rethink a few things.
All signed up.
I was at the page where they would not recognise my password so right under the grey box for sign in was a link to sign up for publishers network....or something like that. Anyway I clicked it and entered all my info.
told there was already an account in that user name...right...so I just changed the user name and continued. Got an email right back, went to the sign in page used the new log on info and there I was...my own account.
I have a question: On the TOS it says to put ads on the domain you signed up with. Does this mean that even though you own other sites you can only use it on that one only?
also in the no no section I found this: <<<(do not) display all or part of the Ad Unit on any web site that is not enrolled in the Beta Program, or sublicense or syndicate the Matched Ads to any other entity or web site;
(do not)display all or part of the Ad Unit on or through any email or software application, or use any software application that is downloaded onto user computers to drive traffic to Your Site; (do Not)
display all or part of the Ad Unit to any user located outside the US; >>>>>
Okay people, how do you prevent other countries people from reading your site besides banning all foreign countries? I don't plan to do that!
I also found on it that you may not display Yahoo ads on any page with any other ads? Does this mean I must take down my banners and all ads other than Yahoo?
This all sounds too restrictive to me!
Erm, are you sure this is the right email address? I am still waiting for their reply though. Any help from other YPN webmasters contacting them?
<-- I also found on it that you may not display Yahoo ads on any page with any other ads? Does this mean I must take down my banners and all ads other than Yahoo? -->
Ann, i dont think so, i saw others running fastclick or banner ads along with ypn ads. Maybe the terms are not clear enough, but i think the best way is to contact support, which is what i am doing now. :>
Thanks.
You also must ban foreign IP's or code it so they cannot see the ads.
Great company...NOT
