Will some Total Balance become Available on Oct 15?

From multiple communications with YPN Support I believe that August YPN earnings will go into "Available Balance" on October 15th. I hope this is the case. So here's to October 15th!

It is my understanding that , having also joined late September, that we will not see a first payment until 45 days after the end of the calendar month we have reached $100 or more.

Meaning - if end of September earnings were $100 or more then the balance shuold be updated and check cut on or near November 15th.

I was just thinking that the money I make on the 1st of the month won't be received for at least 75 days. That could be a life time at my age!

well i didn't make over $100 in sept because i joined around the 28th of the month..

that means we'll likely see our first check in december...?

If your first earnings were in September, then I believe November 15th you will see those earnings move to Available Balance. If you then request a check, say on November 16th, then according to YPN support, you will receive a check "30 to 45 days after then end of the month in which you request a check." So that would be January 1st - 15th.

IMHO that is a LOOOONNNNGGGG time to wait - 4 months for money you earned on September 1st to get to you. However my understanding is on November 15th you can move your available balance to your Overture/Yahoo Search account.

The FAQ reads:
"Your revenue accrues over the course of the calendar month. Forty-five days after the close of the calendar month, your adjusted revenue becomes your available balance. If your available balance is at least $100, a check will be issued at this time."

I spoke to them and they said this is not the case, despite what the FAQ says. For example, I have August earnings and available balance is still 0.00

Sorry, I mean the check will not be issued. The check will be issued 30-45 days after the close of the calendar month in which you request the check, and this can only be done on available balance earnings.

i would of thought if started publishing ads late september (even if i didn't reach $100) i would receive payment Nov 15th or there after for sept/october earnings... too confusing.

Just talked with Yahoo - the situation is as the FAQ erads, bnhall, you are simply mistaken... i hope.

Ok, you folks are right. In this thread [webmasterworld.com] people near Y!'s HQ have begun receiving checks for August earnings. Cool!
