216.188.26.201 resolves to Trellian [trellian.com], an Australian software firm producing the Wolf series of products, who own the block 192-223.

ASPseek [aspseek.org] on the other hand is a free gnu licence written by Swsoft HQed in San Francisco.

Curious mixture. And now that you mention it I remember seeing the same IP in my logs recently as well. I wonder what they are up to? Perhaps someone with better digging abilities than mine can shed some light.

Yeah cheers Woz it is a fairly recent version they are using.

I have recently been put in a directory ( albeit small )like thing in Aussie so maybe its something to do with this, do you have any listings in australia ?? perhaps that could be the link ?

ASPSeek is a open source search engine that works with MySQL and other databases. It is typically good for up to a million listings, which makes it great for a vortal/specialty engine.

You've been crawled be a mini search engine.

ASPSeek is a very nice piece of software, I believe it was written in Russia.
