DFusionBot

I've searched, but I can't find it...

Hi, I'm new to webmaster world and relatively new to this industry.

I've got this spider that comes to visit every day, but I don't know what it is (DFusionBot) - any ideas.

I'm in the process of configuring webtrends and stuff, so I can't give any details of activity. I also can't give an IP as all my referring IPs seem to be the same (internal 209.135.117.197) - I'm trying to sort this out too!

fusionbot is an internal site search engine.

I can find no evidence of a Dfusionbot, and since it is all from your internal IP, it makes sense to me that this is your internal site search engine's User Agent, indexing your content for internal usage.

It's probably Thunderstones webinator which indexes our web search every day - doh. :-)

Well, after a few months of watching the little critters come and go I can safefly say I'm thoroughly hooked.

Problem is, I can't seem to locate a log file analysis tool for a windows machine so I'm in the middle of developing my own using ASP. Can anyone point my to any tools for windows?

Also, with regards to the DFusionBot spider, the IP address for it is 128.220.221.115 and it's still visiting me every day. IP resolves to these guys www.cnds.jhu.edu, not a search engine, but very polite.
