A spider from the IP 216.35.112.143 spidered my index page three time in the last month.
The host name of the previous IP 216.35.112.142 is admin2.ussc.alltheweb.com so I think that it could be a spider from Fast.
Am I right ?

Did it exhibit crawler behavior? I've gotten hits from there many times, but it was never crawler behavior.

Yeah, that's them. Looks like they have about half the IPs assigned [cgi-fun.hypermart.net].

Good question. Also, did you get any image calls from that IP?

Can't see any off hand little. Random hits here and there, all to index pages. It almost looks like an "add url" type link checker.

I really like the host name of 216.35.112.83 ;-)
devnull.ussc.alltheweb.com

This is all deja vu, because I was just going through my fast ip's earlier today.
Basically for Fast ip's I have:
209.202.148.*
209.67.247.*
213.120.56.*
213.188.8.*

<-- look at profile email adr... You'll notice that popping up here and there. (trend setter..lol) I've used it for 3 years now and never saw it anywhere else prior to that.

Here is one I get a huge number of hits from 20-30 ip's using Fast as an id:
216.100.147.0 216-100-147-0.ihug.net

Clearly isn't Fast, but suspicious behavior none-the-less.

Updated list of Fast IP's and box names: [webmasterworld.com...]

Came by monday morning and I did verify it (FAST) thru rwhois.exodus.net, the UA that it used is libwww-perl/5.52 FP/2.1
