This is just a guess. I Googled for "NASA Search" and came up with a NASA website (http: //search.nasa.gov/search/search). Using the advanced options there appears to be a way to search other websites. I only took a cursory glance at it and didn't do any testing so I could very well be wrong about this.

The 213.42. are in Dubai and last I checked NASA doesn't live there, nor home DSL.

I think this is just spoofing like all the rogue Googlebots out there OR the Nasa bot is crawling thru various proxy servers that have cloaked spider bait, happens all the time.

OK boys and girls, I stumbled across a tidbit on Project Honeypot that links this Nasa thing to some known spambots.
