I noticed this bot (I have put on my site adsense 4 days ago) extremely aggressive...

Can I ban or is it important for something?

Any help appreciated.

Regards.

That's Google's Adsense bot, checking your site to see what kind of ads to display for your site. If you ban it, bad things could happen on your Adsense account, such as PSAs or account banning.

And if you don't have Google ads, you can Disallow Mediapartners-Google in robots.txt and your pages will still appear in Google's results.

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google*
User-agent: Mediapartners-Google/2.1
Disallow: /

I banned Mediapartners-Google years ago, and also ban other specialized G bots, all with no ill effects. ('Regular' Googlebot is as aggressive as ever. Almost too much so, actually.) FWIW, from my robots.txt --

# No G Ads
User-agent: Mediapartners-Google*
User-agent: Mediapartners-Google/2.1
# No RSS
User-agent: FeedFetcher-Google
User-agent: FeedFetcher-Google;
# No, thanks
User-agent: Googlebot-Image
Disallow: /

If you have Adsense, this bot will visit every page a user visits almost immediately after the page is viewed. I think it may wait before viewing the same page again, but you'll see it a lot.

It is the bot they use to view your page to determine what kinds of ads to place there. If you block it, you may end up with either an email from Google telling you to let it back in, nothing but public service ads, badly targeted ads. or no ads at all.
