I didn't see this thread until just now, after I posted one of my own.

I saw the same bot from MS this past week.

It did not read robots.txt but it only took my index page. Normally that would warrant a ban but I'm curious to see what this UA is up to.

BTW, the inability to search the site has pretty much rendered this forum useless for me as a research tool. Such a shame.

I agree. For the time being, Yahoo Search stills works. Find code by following "site search" link at top of page.
