Weirdly formated UA

requested robots.txt

I noticed the following request in my log.
The User Agent has back backslashes in it and double quotes, and certainly if it was that browser it wouldn't be requesting robots.txt

192.17.11.### - - [13/Sep/2005:11:58:41 +1200] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.0" 200 554 "-" "\"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20030225\""

It didn't fetch anything else.
Anyone seen something like this?
