I found a ton of visits to one of my sites from that with the ip of 209.73.176.129 and Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.2; FreeBSD) (KHTML, like Gecko).

The IP range is Alta Vista, which I seem to recall Yahoo having purchased. (I could be mistaken.)

I have this particular UA denied.
IMO Alta Vista should provide a standard URL in either their crawling or confirmation of pages, the same as the other major SE's do in their UA's.

Alta Vista has long ceased being a key player in the SE Group.
