I did a tracert and the last hop that did not time out was in Poland.

How else can I investigate IP's on my own?

I'd say it's not really a Googlebot. A good place to research IP addresses is: [dnsstuff.com...]

It's a forged UA. Unless G is using dsl's in Poland to crawl with now. ;)
