I just checked my bot trap and found IP 65.223.250.253, pretending to be IE 6, which resolves to Keebler.com.

Some old threads. You'll find this coming from Northwestern University.

Thanx for the links, wilderness. I think I'm going to ban the whole 65.223.250 range to keep out all the elves.

The elf has been back many times since I posted this thread, though it gets a 403 and redirect off of my site.
Always requests robots.txt and index page. It disobeyed robots before and ended up in the bot trap. Don't know why it bothers in the first place.
