It's a bot I found in my log today. I'm thinking of banning it unless someone can give me a good reason not to. I've had far too much guestbook spam lately to suffer bots that aren't from SEs.

GAIS is a research project at a University on Taiwan - something to do with the Openfind search engine, IIRC. It's a legitimate search engine, though maybe not your marketing region. If you can get access to your raw access logs, they provide a URL in their user-agent string for more info.

My site got hit by this bot today, too. Here's what my Robot Control program got from it:
