Does anyone recognise this IP 80.58.6.170.

It has hit my site about 13 times today and only viewed the home page. Allegedly with my listing on Searcheurope as the referrer. Interesting thing though is that it can arrive twice in under 10 seconds having changed its user agent from "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.0.2914" to "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.12; Mac_PowerPC". Each time it appeared it only looked at the home page, didn't get any images, and used a different agent. Looks like a robot pretending to be a human to me.

Seems to be a spider from a spanish search engine.

Ok,

just uncovered this thread from a while back whilst doing a search on the IP range 80.58.*

Seem to be a whole network of caching proxy servers gone mad - the range belongs to Spanish ISP / Telco "Telefonica".

After making one request to my site following a plug i've received on a popular page; the whole network of proxy servers have gone mad requesting the page every few seconds.

It's been going on for 15 hours now :( Anyone else having similar problems from this IP range?
