[posted this earlier, but page shows as ERROR]

Anyone know what the UA is for GetPageSize download tool (www.q42.nl)?
They have not answered repeated email inquiries.

Hi keyplyr - nice tool by the way.

I don't think it has a specific UA, because it is a javascript (q42.nl/demos/bookmarklets/pagesize.js) called by your web browser, so the UA would be your own.

Ah - thanks pixel_juice. Guess there's no way to block it then?

It can be abused as a download tool, or "ripper" that pulls all the images, external scripts, includes, etc from the page; all the stuff I try to hide - LOL

You might be able to include some javascript on your page to prevent the q42.nl script from running, but I'm don't really know enough javascript to offer anything definite.

Received their reply to "what is your UA for the GetPageSize?"

I am not sure. We use XMLHTTP (Microsoft plain component shipped with
IE5.x and IIS5 and MSXML libraries)...You can try it by using your own xmlhttp call in your own code...Greetings + good luck, Q42

Not sure how this information would aid me in banning this download tool however.
