Has been in one of our sites grabbing 3-7 pages a second for several days.

LARBIN-EXPERIMENTAL efp@gmx.net

This site is strictly for a US and Canada based high-end software product. Gmx is German based but the IP block 66.230.140.66 is assigned to:
oXeo Networks -OXEONE - 90 admiralty loop - staten island - NY - 10309 US

Anyone have any info on this?

herb,

A site search here on WebmasterWorld will turn up lots of bad news on both larbin and efp@gmx.com

I block both of 'em.

Thanks Jim, got lazy and typed the question without doing the search. In a rush parsing through a large log file.

SetEnvIf User-Agent ^larbin keep_out

There are a multitude of larbin users in my files.
This covers most.
ANY IP range which uses this on a website (IMO) deserves denying.
