google spam reporting.....Nah

I thought this was some sort of google spam reporting bot. Turns out it is used for term papers that plagiarize.

Lots of threads on that one in here if you need more info - try a WebmasterWorld site search to dig 'em all up.

I disallowed this one in robots.txt, and so far, it is obeying the disallow.

Not obeying the disallow on some of my sites. The others I just figured it hasn't found yet.

User-agent: TurnitinBot
Disallow: /

Is that what you're using?

Have been using the old User-agent with no problems.

User-agent: SlySearch
Disallow: /
