Since yesterday my site is getting thousands of hits from a machine which BBClone Stats v0.30 identifies running W2K and IE 5.
Its IP is 63.148.99.232
I guess it is a spider, but BBClone Stats couldn't identify it as one.
I dont think it is google because google till now could always be identified by BBCloneStats.
Could this be what you call the google freshbot?

strange:
My website is a shop which uses sessionids if you have put articles in your basket. This ip is accessing pages with sessionids which definetely are not generated by our system.

If it isn't google i would disallow this ip to access my website.
It simply is generating too much traffic (in last 30 minutes 400 hits). But more important i am running low on diskspace so that the logfiles for the last 7 days generated by BBCloneStats don't fit on my account anymore. Thats why i lost my stats this morning (Happily after months i did my first backup two days ago :-))
