Heavy traffic from IP, ...

Hey,

I have really heavy traffic here, since the last two days everytime I watch my stats (livestats) there is the IP 64.140.49.69 online.

The IP is from ICG Communications.

Does anyone know if there is a bot using this ip?
Anyone got this IP on its homepgae, too?

It appears to be a plagarism bot from "turnitin". You can find out everything you need to know with a search on GG.

Sorry, if GG means Google, I really tried and did find nothing.

Nor with the ip, neither with icg communications.

And with turnitin I'm also not finding any suitable results, could you tell me the INet add? turnitin.com isn't right, is it?

Okay, now I got it.
It's searching for plagiarism, as it says on the homepage.

So, has anyone else been searched by this bot or do I have to worry?
Is it searching all the web or just special sites?

Well, actually I can't remember of using any plagiats, so I should be save. At least I hope so. :)

Yup, also found that after I knew the name.
Now, I banned this bot via "Deny from 64.140.49.69".

It's only for educational purposes and tries, as said before, to detect plagiatism of edu work, so I don't see the reason why they shoulld search my site.

And, it definitly is a lot of traffic they produce. They where on my site for 2 or 3 days know, searching my whole page.
