Internally it is basically a web spider. The main advantage to other download tools is that it can automatically fill out forms

The funny thing is, I think this is a backfired "viral marketing" attempt. But instead of buying, we're banning. I was going to post about it, but you beat me to it!

This UA requested the index page twice (and nothing else) from one of my sites this morning, so I think it's purpose was simply to leave the log entry. The IP address was the same one that hit your site.

Hi:

I found a company that was selling a bot that put a clients URL in the referer to make curious webmasters go to their page... an interesting spin on ads. I banned them by IP address...
