Oracle Ultra Search

Seems that I'm just full of questions tonight...

What is the concencsus on "Oracle Ultra Search"?

Followed the IP back and its a nice enough little site with built-in search capabilities, it treated my sites favourably so for the SERP side I'm happy, just curious if anyone has had much experience of it...

For me it just seems to scan the root document (albeit without requesting robots.txt) and then leaves. Does anyone have any experience which would suggest that this is either a nice well behaved robot or yet another poorly coded SE crawler wannabe...

I never seen it, but I am curious, did Oracle make a off the shelf SE?

Kind of, essentially it looks like an enterprise-wide search'n'indexer which can also crawl external documents...

Dream,
I looked at the Oracle pages yesterday and although I'm not able to return to where I was :-(

I recall looking at the versions available for download.
I didn't see any windoze.

I saw Linux, Unix, Solaris (think) and the NEW Mac version.

You think it is as effective crawling externally?
