Thanks, Heini.

Now I wonder why these people would want to spider an obscure danish website. ;-) They themselves and their partners all seem to be german. And there is very little in German on my pages: Some titles of music and an excerpt of a letter from a forgotten scientist, whose only claim on remembrance is that he was a friend of a famous dane.

Hi:

I have seen rabaz a lot recently. I do not remember exactly what I found out about it.... but I did research it. Based on that, and it's patern on my logs ( that is, no heavy hitting, respecting robots.txt, etc) I concluded it was not objectionable to me... and I let him in...

YMMV

I have also seen rabaz in action recently, my site is health related, it seems they are powering a search at medical-tribune.de

Heini can you see if the search is only medical/health related sites and how closely related to the field do the sites in the search seem to be. (I know the site they have spidered of mine is slap bang on target and comes up in the search listings.)

Brainbot spiders for a company developing vertical search solutions for anybody interested.
I'm not familiar with the projects they have at this time.
So the bot very likely spiders different areas.
