What can anyone tell me about a spider identified with a user agent of MarcoPolo? It came in from IP 213.215.133.19 and did a pretty complete spider of my site on 2002-10-05. I found a search engine [marcopolosearch.org] for educational stuff (actually pretty interesting), but I'm not sure they are related.

I haven't seen that one, but the IP you gave shows to be coming from Italy... Not what I'd expect, given the Web site you cited.
Anyone else see this UA?

IP belongs to Trinity srl, Rome. Their site is [trinityroma.com...] but currently "under construction". Ghe sboro...anyone an idea what they are doing?

ok, blocking it now before it comes here too. already enough they create a spider and have their own page under construction. using RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} MarcoPolo [NC,OR] XOC, what was your exact UA string?
