Current User Agent: Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)
IP: 211.154.211.209 (Found this page banned by Google.)
Use: Proxy server- possible proxy spider???

211.154.211.209 used to take you to dfzx.com.cn but it gives a blank page now. There also seems to be some kind of relationship between dfzx.com.cn and bigate.com (a US site sitting on ev1.net). URLs from these sites show up in searches for one of my domain names.

Example: [*bigate.com...]
48,500 [google.com] results in Google index.

Example: [*dfzx.com.cn...]
130,000 [google.com] results in Google index.

Considering the growing number of Web sites that are banning visitors from China, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese were looking for ways around the security. One thing is for sure, there has been an increase in activity from ev1.net.

Anyone else have info to share?

Cripes, maybe Everyones Internet should be called Spammers Internet!~:eek: I don't think those are the only two domains from within ev1.net to use questionable practices! Leaves one to wonder if one is not in bed with the other?~;

Its coming from this little app which I have no idea what does.
216.239.35.100/search?q=cache:gNA8TCkVGyEC:dfzx.com.cn/cgi-bin/bigate.cgi/b/k/k/+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

the only way I could look at it was through googles cache.

It had this name at the bottom DongFangZhiXiao.

very interesting.

I'd block access straight away...there are numerous domains hosted at ev1.net which are jacking code from other websites. see: marconicaswell.com, vistorsgrapevine.com, and the-classifieds.com.

This is probably just the tip of the iceberg, I've yet to find a site hosted at ev1.net that is NOT jacking code!~

That's not right junior. When you consider ev1.net is part of a massive hosting [rackshack.net] complex (on the order of Exodus), it is highly doubtful they have a clue who is hosting what.

Bigate was turned into Google ages ago (january)...

Go to http://dfzx.com.cn/cgi-bin/bigate.cgi and enter in http://www.google.com and change the encoding type to GB

When I did it it gave me an error with the contact email address and dns admin in China.
Server Administrator/Contact: sysadmin@www3.chinadns.com
Server Name: dfzx.com.cn
Server Port: 80
Server Protocol: HTTP/1.1

Contact Web Site: http://www.chinadns.com/

I think it is a chinese website and a Perl script that changes the encoding so they can view the pages.

If you go to the dfzx site and view source you can see the encoding type is similiar to the GB option on that script page.

I do not see why they could care less about Google.
If you see alot of urls in your logs like that perhaps you have some content they want to view.

LOL. Your right about that Brett, I know there are a bunch of spammers out there, but that would be a bunch!~;) The three domains listed are ALL hosted on ev1.net, actually the same ip address.
