I've been hit by "vobsub" (lower case). It was sniffing for movie files with extensions that did not exist. It made 150 requests in a matter of seconds. I banned it.

thats the same as what it seems to be doing here. a search on google tells me that "VobSub is a plug-in for VirtualDub that allows you to rip subtitles from DVD VOB files and to use the provided DirectShow filter for DivX playback with subtitles". time to ban it i think.
