I am new here, but have lurked for awhile, and would like to thank everyone for the knowledge that's been shared.

Can anyone shed any light on either of these two critters?
Flickbot 1.0 RPT - 66.77.127.102
Symantec Notify Internet - 80.178.2.165

I have a blog and both have been all over the logs in the last few days. Didn't find either of these covered here previously.

Any help is appreciated!

madamjjj,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

This is just a guess, but the first is DivX - possibly searching for illegal copies of movies made
using its DivX video codec.

The second one is from Israel and I didn't find any more refined information, so who knows what
they're up to.
