24.29.64.70 - - [20/Jul/2002:09:14:34 -0700] "GET mypages.html HTTP/1.0" 200 6854 "-" "Mozilla/3.01-C-MACOS8 (Macintosh; I; PPC)"

Would have loaded every page had it not been stopped.
No robots.txt read.
No images loaded.
many 404's as it used the realative URL's of my pages.

This is not my first round with a Road Runner user. I have a mail in to Road Runner with the logs. Kind of doubt that I'll hear anything positive. As a result I've expanded my rr.com denies.

As far as I know, it's a browser. nycap.rr.com is an ISP. Could it just simply has been a Mac user visiting your site with Netcape 3.x and images loading turned off?

That's actually a real browser,
it was included in the web browser capability check (http:// research.compaq.com/nsl/formtest/stats-by-browser/Mozilla_3.02-C-MACOS8_(Macintosh).html).

Mozilla 3.x on a Mac.

Of course if I could I'd ban all netscapes under 6. But I can dream :)

Many thanks for the feed back.

It likley is a browser HOWEVER, this visitor grabbed over 200 pages with only 3-4 seconds between pages. Hardly enough time for browsing.
