Looks like a French engine. Saw it today for the first time. Had a referring URL of [antibot.net,...] which is a page in French describing the bot. The page says the bot obeys robots.txt.
>Looks like a French engine Yes it has some similarities with a real search engine. Claims 18 Mill. French language docs, mixed from ODP data and own db. Interesting they are spidering again - at some point they seemed to rather close down. More info in the French thread [webmasterworld.com]

Nice thread... maybe I ought to spend more time in the International engines areas. So many threads... So little time... :)

In case this of concern to anyone. This engine caches pages. I can't find any page that tells webmasters how to prevent this.

To my knowledge Antisearch, websearch part of the search software developer Antidot has no major outlet on the web anymore. They used to feed Francite, a portal with sites in France, Canada and Belgium, but lost that to Deepindex. Antisearch anyhow is an engine for french pages only. Did you see them spidering sites in other languages?

Yes, heini
The site that they were spidering is english language only and I did not submit it to them.
