p.s. I was not sure if this is the right forum to post my question, so mods, if you think I can get better help elsewhere, please move my thread. thanks
You can edit the file that controls search engine recognition for WebTrends yourself if you're adventurous enough :). The file is called keywords.ini and there's a tutorial [webtrends.com] at WebTrends that tells you how to edit it. Just remember to make a backup of the file first.
I've been poking around a bit and haven't been able to come up with a newer copy of the file. Most people don't have the first clue the keywords.ini file or how to edit so consequently I figure most WT users are using the default version that they downloaded with the product.
To have a really current version of keywords.ini you pretty much have to know what you're looking for in your logs and then add it to the file yourself.
Honestly - it's a really simple file to edit. The syntax is very straight forward and if you make a backup you aren't risking anything - if your new file doesn't work you can always rerun the program with the backup. I have faith in you Val - you can do it ;)
