Spider List Updates???

I use webtrends alot and I've search their site for this answer to no avail.

Does the spider list in Webtrends Log Analyser need to updates? If so, how?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Before WebTrends Analysis Suite v.7 all spider ID’s where hard coded in the wtm_log.dll

In the new version it’s quite easy to edit the spider list (agent_browsers.cfg).

In order to keep the spider list updated all you have to do is watch out spiders in the top browsers table. When you find a spider, which WebTrends has identified as a browser you simply add it to the agent_browsers.cfg and categorise it as a spider.

I have version 5.0e. Is it therefore impossible for me to update this list?

Yes. You will have to upgrade if want to customise the spider list.
