Im not "up there" with the rest of you hunting down these spiders but that one defintely looks unique.

Just as I am about to launch a forum, I thank you for this find :)

Clever idea. Looks like it just parses UBB?

If they could figure out a way to spider message boards other than UBB, they'd become a real resource!

They have Yahoo Message boards indexed (don't know if they use UBB). It's possible that to build up their index very quickly that they are using a list of licensed UBB forums.

One thing is for sure, It visits my forums quite frequently although none of the pages are in their index.

I'd like to know their qualifications for adding forums? I've added several and never seen them spidered.

i've never seen any of my message boards spidered either ... cant even get google to spider the ASP ones even though it happily spiders databases via ASP ... maybe this one will encourage the other engines to send spiders into our message boards as well?
