Flash audio player for mp3?

not for streaming, for playing locally!

Richard_N provided some basic code for Flash and audio playback.

Being a noob, I must ask about it.

Will this work locally? I mean, to play mp3's residing on the same system as the script is running?

And what software will I need to use this for playback?

some method was suggested for doing the same thing in a more cumbersome manner.

However, there was a suggestion on how to transform the mp3 files into .swf files using some "SWF Automation Tool".

Question on this - would there be better protection of the audio content if it is in .swf format than in mp3?
