Hi,

I have a menu in Flash that behaves strange recently. You must click twice on a button in order to respond.

Also other banners made in flash even if they are not buttons, if you go with the mouse over it, will activate like a link although it's not a link... I guess there is something in the code that can be changed. Can you advise?

All this started to happen since a couple of weeks ago when I downloaded updates from Microsoft...

Thanks for your help

i'd like to help, but about what javascript code are you talking? is it a script that "creates" the flash-html? maybe this is because of security settings in internet explorer. as far as i know you should normally disable activex in internet explorer for web-surfing.

See FlashObject:

[weblogs.asp.net...]

However I am not sure if the whole Flash code I have right now must be inserted or just part of it.

Thanks for the help.

Try doing a web search for "Javascript Flash Player detection and embed script" - that will give you a good resource.

but what to do if javascript is disabled? does that mean any plugin is not working any longer in internet explorer? i guess this is a current issue only, isn't it?
