embedding text in a flash component

Hello to all the wondefuly helpfull people at webmasterworld, this is my first problem that I have ever had where I am resorting to posting. I am currently googling "tall building" to find a suitable jump off point.

Basic problem is when I input text it will vanish, then if you click on it, it appears again. embedded text problem you say...probably but the text is embedded, the problem occors when the refreshpane command executes, ....... Please help.

Sorry but this may add to the confusion,

I have been using flash player 6, and now I have downloaded flash player 8, and my text doesn't show up at all in that, I have no idea why.

There is something else that is odd about it, in my flash player (6), after I enter 16 different lines the problem just stops, but in my flash player (on test movie, with debug) in testing it continues until the 31st time I enter a line then it stops acting silly and just works. It has strange regularity for a bug?

Make sure that the text is static as opposed to dynamic text.
