buttons linking to anchors within a textbox

best way of doing this?

Hello, I don't have much experience with flash (yet) so bear with me :)

I'm assuming this is possible, and have been playing around with bringing in external .txt files to the textbox rendered as html so that i can even have the anchors.

Goal:
to have a list of buttons, each linking to a different anchor within a textbox

I'm sure there's an easy solution, but at this point I'm not having much luck, even with searching through the countless tutorial sites out there.

anyone with some quick advice would be much appreciated.

after looking into it further today, I'm worrying that that is true.

I guess I best figure out a different method.
