Dynamic Menus and Flash

flash object and dynamic menus on same page.

I did some redesign work for a company website, adding a flash movie to one of it's pages. Now the dynamic menu is not showing on top of the movie, but behind it...

I have tried layering object into a table, re-designing the menu (it needed it anyway), etc, but I still cannot get the menu to appear "on top of" the flash movie.

Any suggestions?

Thanks - TGG

you can't, flash is not subject to z order stacking as its embedded so will always appear on top

Have you tried setting the wmode to transparent? I have had success with 'layering' menus over flash movies using this.

For more info: [macromedia.com...]

One thing about using this though is that it takes more processing power on the client side to render.
