Hello,
I'm trying to set an intro to the site I'm doing. I need this to validate in the W3C so I can't use the embed tag. My problem is that it shows in firefox and IE but nothing in netscape.
This is the code:

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="worldmap.swf" width="600" height="300">
<param name="movie" value="worldmap.swf">
</object>

What am I doing wrong?

I'll appreciate all the help I can get, thanx.

Polett.

While an advocate of standards got to say this is one instance where i think wc3 are wrong, they should have made provision for flash in the original standards.

Jut use the standard flash code and ignore wc3. Our sites validate in every other way but I refuse to jump through hoops keeping wc3 happy putting in iffy mark up just to get flash to work in a less solid manner than it will otherwise.
