Hi,

I would like to do the following.

Have an image appear in a 200 x 400 rectangle.

After a few seconds (or as soon as the complete file is loaded) this image will pan slowly to the right or left.

The key things are:

1. For people who don't have flash, it shows the image like normal. (i.e., they don't know they're missing anything.)

2. The whole thing doesn't slow the down load much.

I am a newcomer to Flash and I don't know how hard this task is.

Thanks for your help,

Paul

its a simplejob, just google flash tutorials or get a flash basics book. it will slow down laod times as the image will need to be gigger than the display area to be able to move and hence bigger than a static smaller image.

To display an alternative image you just define it in the HTML
