I am surprised that affiliate companies are not at home biting their nails for fear that their commission payments are not properly recorded. More and more people are disabling cookies, for no good reasons, other than most spyware programs allow it and encouarge it. How do you plan on getting paid oh great affiliate manager? I am new to the affiliate business but I hate not getting paid for what I have earned, doesn't anyone care?

I heard Flash can be used with cookie tracking, although there are some downsides with them as well. Has anyone experimented, or researched Flash cookies. Please share your findings, I think they could be important. If you are using other tracking tools please let us know as well. I am planning on using 1x1 pixels on "thank you" page, but I don't think that helps the visitor who comes back to the page after visiting my site where cookies have been disabled.

Flash uses the Sharedobject class which saves info up to the value of 100k on a users machine. Basically this can then be loaded back in and the variable can then be used from the previous visit.

What did you need to know?
