Hi guys,

I created a simple tween with a graphic symbol and I have the keyframe where the tween starts to play only once and tried "single frame".

Even with the <param name="loop" value="false"> it still loops. If I play it in the timeline it doesn't loop but even a test of the movie will keep it looping.

I am sure it is something stupid but after I can't make it stop.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I am a flash 4 guy but this might help

Add a key frame at the end of the movie and under the action tab of that key frame select stop.

Thanks for the reply. I actually solved the problem already. I think I did the same thing you suggested.

I clicked on the last frame and I inserted the "stop()" action and that solved it.

Did I do something wrong with my animations (I've started over and went through several tutorials) but I don't recall any tutorials mentioning to insert the stop action to prevent looping.

There were lots of looping options and I turned them off and couldn't understand why it was looping. If someone could explain what happened here or if it is normal and those tutorials explained it all but the stop action?

Did you have "Loop" de-selected in the Movie menu of the design interface?

Usually movies will loop automatically, ergo include a STOP command at the last frame if you don't want it looping forever.
My 2 cents anyway : )
