Can someone sort of briefly explain what Flash 5 capabilities will allow me to do? I have a chance to purchase an unused unreg copy and would prefer to do that before buying any newer flash version.
thanks

.... a point to consider, upgrading to Flash MX 2004 Pro will set you back US$250, as opposed to a US$600 price tag.

(numbers might be wrong, check out macromedia.com)

Don't waste your time with Flash 5. It was a bad release. Go straight to Flash MX or 2004. You also won't get much support with Flash 5 as much of the ActionScript has changed.
