getting flash to detect your version of windows

how do i get a flash movie to scan a computer (if it is being used as an autorun stand-alone player for a cd) to find out what version of windows is being used so that i can display information relevant to the version of windows

Macromedia Flash Detection Kit
at macromedia and this should have what you need.
