The new Macromedia Flash Player update service is intended to provide uses with a simple, convenient, and secure mechanism to update their Macromedia Flash Player on a timely basis. The process was designed to offer an intuitive and non-intrusive mechanism is designed not to interrupt the user and prevent rebooting. IIt provides the user with the control to not to participate in this notification and update mechanism.
Looks like a nice new way of handling the plugin updates.
