2 things here really.

First off, is there a bug in Flash MX regarding sound? I have to insert it about 6 or 7 frames ahead of where i actually want it to start playing.

For instance, if I want my movie to start playing the sound clip on frame 10, I have to insert the sound clip on frame 16.

Secondly, I created a movie which is 160 frames long, with frames 4 to 160 being keyframes and having a 20K images each. I then created another layer and inserted a sound clip to go along with all these frames. (the duration of the clip is frames 4 to 160 as well). I created a preload script so that all the images will be preloaded before playback. When I play the movie at home, the sound clip matches the movie. That is the sound clip finishes at frame 160 right in conjuction with the last 20K image. But when I play it at work the sound clip seems to finish a little early (about frame 140). Now the sound clip doesn't sound slower, but the playback of the images seems slower! Can it be the graphics card? I'm using IE in both cases to view the movie.
