Hi,
I know I'm on AV, because a URL lookup finds me (but only 1 page). Mine is a frames site, but in the noframes area , I have linked all the other pages in the site to assist crawlers. When I test crawl the site using the utils here, it seems to crawl fine.

Other relevant points (maybe) each individual page has some javascript to pull back the frameset so that you can't get to an orphaned page.

When I search on altavista using very specific kw's i.e. company name etc. I still don't find my site. Can anyone help??

It hard to say if AV just hasn't crawled your subpages yet or if your javascript is causing the problem.

Either way I wouldn't recommend using the frames work around. Your going to get much better results if you take your site out of frames.

i agree. i had a site using frames and only the frameset was listed in AV. i removed the frames and AV then listed all pages.

but that was back in the days when AV bothered to add sites to their index.
