Altavista Featured Sites

Hi all!!!
I have one question may be not so interesting but I would like to know what's happening with Altavista featured sites. I mean, when I make a search it doesn't display me the featured site at first time, but, if I repeat the same search from the bottom of searc results page it displays them. So which is the problem? It makes the same with both Netscape and IE. Should I change the search settings or is it a joke from Altavista?

I get exactly the same, sometimes they are shown other times not. However if I refesh the page then they are almost always shown, this could mean that the response time from the ad servers has to be below a certain threshold or they will not be shown.
